Picture Perfect.

"I get lost in the beauty of everything I see;
The world ain’t half as bad as they paint it to be.
If all the sons, all the daughters stopped to take it in...
hopefully the hate subsides and the love can begin."

Day 1: Somers, CT.

Man, today has been great. We are staying at Pres & Helen Blake's estate in Somers, Connecticut. (Pictures coming soon--believe me, you'll want to see them.) Pres is the founder of Friendly's Restaurant  back here on the east coast. He even took us out for ice cream today at one of the franchises! They've been friends with my parents for as long as I've been alive, and they have been so nice to us to invite us. Today, we drove through a lot of the city/country, and got a tour of Susan & Ed's house (Helen's daughter and son-in-law) to see their home that could be featured in Better Homes and Gardens...oh...and their art studio.
